We are anxious to get together with old friends and make new acquaintances.

The Embassy Suites Hotel is in downtown Tuscaloosa, with a newly decorated suite with sofa and dining area, hotel breakfast offers omelets, waffles, and a wonderful selection of fruits and sweet rolls, etc. 

Evening reception provides hotel guests two cocktails and snacks, and the convention will be filled with education, activities, entertainment, and wonderful food.  Jason Powell owner of "Peddles from the Past" will be our keynote speaker and provide us with information about the best plants for our southern states and roses that smell like those from grandma's house and never available in big box stores.  He will make his plants available for you to purchase. 

We will tour the historic Jemison-Battle Friedman Mansion and enjoy a tea party, wearing our favorite hats.  One evening bring something that looks like it might have been worn in 1920 and enjoy the music and fun in costume before our enthusiastic well respected nationwide floral designer Benny Campbell wows us with his creations.

Make hotel reservations as early as you can so you are able to stay where the action will be, rather than a more expensive hotel  nearby.  Rates will be $149 with free parking and breakfast, as well as the evening receptions.  Reservations for convention and hotel link to save your room will be posted in early September.  While you are here you can  go see the huge Alabama Football Stadium and fun shopping
