We would like to introduce the new Editor-in-Chief, Kennedy Pope, of the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. quarterly magazine for the next two years.
We are proud and excited that she has agreed to lead our team in this endeavor to promote communication and convey fresh ideas for us in this great region.
Kennedy has Deep South roots. She is native Tennessean, member of the Town and Country Garden Club,
enjoys gardening, cooking and entertaining. She began her journalism experience while still in high school writing for her school paper and was invited to write a weekly fashion column for the county paper before she left for the University of Mississippi and earning her Journalism degree. She was accepted to the London College of Fashion studied textile design and fashion media in London, England and then travelled and studied in Dublin, Ireland at Trinity College. While abroad she traveled to eleven countries. Returning to the States, she used her skills for Policy writing for Commerce. Science and Transportation Committee in our state’s Capital, in Washington, DC.
Now she resides in Nashville where she designs and sales custom barns for The Barn Store. We welcome her expertise and talent to build for the future for the Deep South Region.
DSGC Chairmen will be asked to submit timely articles for their chairmanships.
